And here we are, coming upon Nicole's birthday. It's amazing to me that she is turning 12 this year. I am so very thankful that she chose me to be her mother. I love you sweet heart. I hope you enjoy these 12 days leading up to your birthday.

Playing on the playground

We had a bit of time in-between our evening activities, and the rain has stopped, so we got some fresh air. Something about the gloom and rain that just drives us stir crazy. We are looking forward to warmer weather and longer days. But for now we'll take whatever we can get.

Ceci got a very cute piggy bank for gift #8. She fell in love with this piggy bank last week while looking for a gift for her best friends birthday. Hopefully she enjoys saving her money in it.

Ceci LOVES, LOVES, LOVES NERF GUNS. This gift Tom picked out for Ceci. Gift number 6 is a NERF gun Bandolier to stock pile her ammo. I can only imagine the plethora of Nerf bullets all over the yard this Spring as I mow the yard.
