working at the "Y"

So I'm sitting at my desk at work and realize that I don't like the background I had switched to, so once agin thanks to LeeLou blogs I have found one that I like.
Just in time for the Holidays.
I was talking to a friend today on how this school year is already flying by and how it amazes me that Thanksgiving is next week. How do we let time go by so fast? and is there anyway that we can slow it down?
If any one knows the trick, please share and then maybe I can use it on my girls.
And FYI it was a bombing 29 degrees this morning in Delaware. COLD! but loving it and we even had snow flurries yesterday! YAY!

Super Saturday

So Autumn and I brought our girls to the activity. Honestly I don't think I would have gotten all my projects done if they weren't there to help me.

I'm not very good actually I'm not good at all at going back to started projects to finish them.

Sis. Lau helped make some of the fantastic cards she makes.

In my new calling I hve the privilage of coming up with fun activities for the sisters in our ward. Of course with the help LaLanya and our committee. We had our Super Saturday. This event initially started in July, and through the years has gotten closer and closer to Christmas. We made really cute projects and had a really good turn out.

Trunk-O-Treat

Here the girls are with their cousins. It was a fun night at the church.

We had a chillis cook off and trunk-o-treating in the building.

It of course had been raining for a few days and evything was indoors.

They still had a blast!

The princess. I hope she always wants to be a princess.

Then hopefully she can't grow up to fast.

I'm Back

Why does it seem like as life gets crazy what we enjoy goes to the wayside?
I have thought about this so much lately because life is crazy now. OF COURSE!
Everyone is doing great in the house and we're just getting used to our crazy scheduals.
As the last log in I am going to catch up on all the things we have done these past few months and hopefully be better at taking the time to do what I enjoys so much.

Going MIA

So as the crazy school year has started I feel as if we as a family have been MIA.

It's actually sad. I was talking to a friend a little bit ago about a play date and as Iwas going through our week mentally I realized that we don't even have time to play at the park until we have a day off of school. But I will say the things we do,we pretty much do as a family.

So our weeks go something like this:

6:30 am- Wake up

7am- Eat Breakfast

7:15- Tom and Ceci out the door

7:30- Nicole practice's her Flute

8:10- Nicole and I out the door

8:30- Me to work until 4

3:30- Ceci meets me at the Y

4:10- Nicole meets me at the Y

and here comes the crazyness

Mon- Golf (Eat at Home)

Tuesdays- Swim team, and Achievement day (Eat a frozen dinner at theY)

Wednesday- Young leaders at the Y and Girl Scouts(Go home to have dinner)

Thursday- Swim team (Frozen dinner at the Y)

Friday- Swim team and Girl Scouts (Dinner at home)

Saturdays and Sundays are our days off.

7pm- come home and spend a little time as a family, going for a walk or hanging out in the house.

7:30- scriptures

7:45- Ceci to bed and shower

8:15- Nicole to bed and shower

8:30- Tom and I have a little bit of time together making lunches for the next day and finishing the laundry. Fun stuff

9:30- We're wiped out and it's our bed time.

and then it all starts all over again.

When Tom and I think about it yes life is crazy, but we're together.

I know the day will come when the girls will play different team sports and will not have the same interests, so at this time we are just enjoying it.
